Made with panela sugar, this dark Fino de Aroma chocolate has an exquisite aroma, delicately combined with fruity notes. Its taste is a combination of unique cocoa notes, perfectly balanced bitterness, and the typical sweet caramel notes of panela. Delicate citric and fruity notes give this chocolate a final touch, and enhance its creaminess, its fusion of flavours and its slightly reddish tone. Panela is a non-refined raw sugar made from dehydrated cane juice with no added chemical substances and in Colombia is produced in what is known as 'trapiches'. Panela keeps its natural flavour and nutrients, has a caramel-like flavour.

A delicious hot chocolate can be prepared by adding 25g of chocolate to 150ml of your milk of choice (or to your own taste) and microwaving for a couple of minutes, stopping to stir after 1 minute. If you want to create a frothy version simply shake in a securely lidded shaker or used a milk steamer if you have one.
As the drink is made with pure chocolate there should be no need to sweeten, whether you like milk or dark chocolate.
