This extra large 1.5 litre cast iron teapot is finished in a rich grey finish. It is enamelled throughout and comes with a stainless steel strainer. The matching base serves to protect wooden surfaces and to show off the teapot. Cast-iron products are handcrafted works of art, made using the rare sand-casting process of Japanese tradition. With up to 40 complex work steps, each product is a colorful one-off, color and size may vary slightly. The teapot has a the classic pinhead pattern on the top half of the body and a textured line on the bottom.
