long-jing-dragon-well-green-tea-product
Long Jing Dragon Well Green Tea
From the mist-shrouded peaks of Lion's Feng near West Lake in Zhejiang comes Long Jing, one of China's most celebrated teas. Each kilogram requires the patient work of skilled pickers who spend entire days harvesting just one pound of leaves — a labour of love that yields between 70,000 and 80,000 precious leaf and bud sets.

This is a tea steeped in legend. When Emperor Qian Long of the Qing Dynasty tasted it at Wugong Temple, he was so captivated that he bestowed upon eighteen bushes the honoured title 'Imperial Tea'. That legacy endures today.

Hand-crafted through more than ten traditional processes in a hot wok, each leaf is delicately shaped and pressed to achieve its distinctive flat form. The result is striking — a yellow-green hue, an intoxicating fragrance, and a flavour that unfolds with subtle sweetness and an almost malty warmth on the palate.

Xi Hu Long Jing is not merely tea; it is a protected heritage. Only leaves harvested within the designated 168 square kilometres of Xi Hu can rightfully bear this name. When you brew a cup, you're experiencing centuries of cultivation perfected by generations of masters, in one of the world's most storied tea gardens.
