Tea

What's in a name? Well, as far as tea goes it has come to mean an infusion of almost any leaf, fruit or flower in water. In this category, you will find what we might choose to describe as 'real' or 'traditional' tea, derivatives of the plant known as Camellia Sinensis, rubbing shoulders with herbal and flowers alike. The major difference between 'real' tea and these equally delicious alternatives, apart from the flavour, is caffeine content.

If you want to search more specifically for any kind of tea please use the handy filter menu on the left or choose a category from the drop-down menu. Happy browsing but more importantly, happy infusing!

It is thought that extracts of tea are one of the key ingredients in the soft drink cola, so this marriage of flavours is perhaps not as surprising as it sounds. The cola flavour is derived from a complex list of ingredients including neroli, lime, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, coriander, orange and lavender to name a few. These are all delightful additions to tea individually and in combination make up a complex, fragrant and flavoursome infusion when married to a fruity, malty tea.
