Flavoured Teas

Flavoured black teas have a particularly special place in our hearts. In fact, they're one of the reasons Imperial Teas exists at all.

Back in 1991, a rather elusive search for some wonderfully fragrant black teas we'd been introduced to set us on a path that eventually led to opening our shop here in Lincoln. More than three decades later, we're still every bit as fascinated by the magical possibilities of bringing beautiful tea and complementary flavours together.

Our flavoured black teas are blended here in our shop, using carefully chosen teas and quality flavouring ingredients to create combinations that are comforting, intriguing, indulgent and occasionally rather unexpected.

From luscious fruits and fragrant flowers to warming spices, creamy vanilla and rich, dessert-inspired creations, there's an extraordinary world of flavour to discover. But whatever the inspiration, we believe the tea itself should never be forgotten. The finest blends allow the character of the black tea and its accompanying flavours to work in delicious harmony.

We've always cared far more about what goes into the cup than how decorative the dry leaves appear. It's the fragrance, the balance and, above all, the taste that matters.

After all, a love of flavoured black tea started this whole adventure. It seems only right that we should continue having such fun with it.
