Tea is where it all began for us. In fact, Imperial Teas was born in 1991 from a fascination with flavour and a rather determined search for some elusive flavoured black teas. More than 35 years later, that same curiosity, enthusiasm and love of a truly wonderful cup of tea continues to inspire everything we do. Our collection is the result of decades spent exploring the extraordinary world of tea, tasting, discovering and selecting leaves that offer something special. From the comforting richness of a traditional breakfast blend to the exquisite complexity of a rare Darjeeling, the delicate sweetness of a fine Japanese green tea or the astonishing depth of an aged Pu Erh, every tea has its own character and story to tell. You'll discover exceptional black, green, white and oolong teas, beautiful Japanese matcha, rare seasonal harvests and our own distinctive Earl Grey and flavoured creations, carefully blended here in our Lincoln shop. Alongside them sit wonderfully fragrant fruit and herbal infusions for those who prefer something naturally caffeine-free. We believe that choosing tea should be a pleasure, not a puzzle.
