Ancestor Mt. Honey Oolong Gabalong Tea

This high-grown, hand-picked tea comes from Ali Mountain in central Taiwan, where the elevation and care create something genuinely special. The unique processing method naturally increases its Gamma Amino Butyric Acid content — which also transforms the tea itself into something wonderfully soft and mellow.

What strikes you first is the flavour: gentle, naturally sweet with a distinct honey character that makes this tea a pleasure to drink regardless of anything else. To earn the name 'gabalong' (sometimes 'gabaron'), tea must contain at least 150mg of GABA per 100g. This batch delivers nearly double that amount.
