Ancient Tea Tree White Tea

Made from local ancestral tea trees in Yunnan, this wild white tea is remarkable for its natural sweetness and complete lack of bitterness. Even when brewed generously, it remains smooth, rounded and beautifully forgiving.

The cup opens with a clear blackcurrant note, followed by soft layers of honey, blossom, apricot and wildflower. Beneath this delicate floral-fruit character is an unusually creamy sweetness, deeper than most white teas.

 As it develops, the ancient large-leaf Yunnan character comes through in the finish, bringing gentle notes of caramel and a subtle fresh pepper warmth. Elegant, sweet and quietly complex, this is a white tea with rare depth and a long, satisfying finish.
