Our most celebrated Sri Lankan tea captures the essence of the Uva district—a remote mountain region shaped by monsoon winds that lend its teas a distinctive, complex character.

This Ceylon Orange Pekoe delivers a remarkable balance. You'll find the depth and colour of mid-elevation cultivation: rich notes of black treacle, currants and plum that unfold on the palate. Alongside these comes a refined brightness—grapefruit zest, minty menthol and a whisper of green wood that keeps each sip engaging and alive.

Grown between 3,000 and 5,000 feet on the eastern slopes of Sri Lanka's central mountains, Uva teas are prized by blenders worldwide. Yet they're equally rewarding as a standalone brew, especially during the peak season from July to September when we source our selection. The monsoon exposure—from both northeast and southwest—infuses these leaves with an unmistakable aromatic quality that sets them apart.
