Ceylon Mountain Stream Orange Pekoe Black Tea

Grown on the remote eastern slopes of Sri Lanka's Central Mountains, this Ceylon black tea delivers a bold, crisp infusion of deep amber that unfolds with layers of character. Fresh, sappy wood mingles with plum fruits, molasses, spice, pepper and mint—a complexity that rewards both morning and afternoon appreciation.

Harvested between 3,000 and 5,000 feet in the legendary Uva district, these leaves benefit from exposure to both northeast and southwest monsoons, which impart their distinctive pungency and aromatic depth. Uva teas are often reserved for blending, yet this selection stands beautifully on its own. We choose ours during the Uva quality season—July through September—when the terroir shines brightest.

The result is a tea of genuine character: refined enough for contemplation, robust enough for everyday pleasure. Each cup carries the story of steep mountain roads, isolated plantations, and the winds that have shaped Ceylon's most celebrated tea-growing region.
