Monkey on a Celestial Peach Flavoured Black Tea

I crafted this blend for someone perpetually chasing their next tea discovery. At its heart lies Fuchow Monkey King, a Chinese black tea brimming with natural notes of chocolate, rose and malt. I've married it with a delicate peach oil—sweet and refreshing—creating something altogether sumptuous.

The name pays homage to a style of Chinese teapot I fell in love with: a little monkey perched upon an enormous peach. Rather charming, really.

Handmade here in the shop, this is a tea that honours centuries of tradition. The Chinese have long understood that tea and fruit oils, flowers and spices belong together—their compatibility opens up an endless world of flavour for the curious drinker. It takes beautifully with a touch of sugar, and welcomes milk if that's your preference.
