ASSAM HALMARI HONEY GARDEN BLACK TEA

This garden produces many of the best tasting teas in Assam and this exquisite batch is no exception. It has a creamy, delicious malty flavour with hints of dark chocolate, caramel, rose, dates and a sweet honey-like finish. Like the finest 2nd Flush teas from Darjeeling, there are notes of muscatel, citrus and cinnamon. It has a lighter, golden colour not found in many Assam teas and is, unusually for an Assam, very drinkable without milk. Situated on the lush plains of Upper Assam, the garden produces the highest quality teas from pedigree clones. It is located in the Moran district of Dibrugarh. Thanks to having over 100 years of legacy and a deliberate pursuit of only the finest quality, it has left no stone unturned in honing its skills to undoubtedly maintain an impeccable standard in tea manufacturing.
