The bowl keeps the heat in by resting on top whilst the tea is brewing and then becomes the vessel for drinking. It makes 160ml of perfect tea. The shiny white glaze is very stylish.

Supported by its long history and culture, the technology has been passed on down generations. It is one of Japan's six ancient kilns that has more than 1200 years of history. It holds 0.3L and has a removable stainless steel infuser. This is finished in a brick red glaze, which allows the natural colour of the clay to bleed through.
