Keyhung Tea Estate at 1,500 feet above sea level produces tea that is strong, full-bodied with excellent maltiness and rich colour, perfect for an early morning pick-me-up. This is a very tippy, flowery, golden, broken orange pekoe or TFGBOP for short! The garden is in the state's northeast corner, between the state of Arunachal Pradesh and the country of Myanmar (Burma); it covers nearly 3 square miles, 2 of which are under tea; over 3,000 people are employed in the harvesting and processing of the tea, and a total of 10,000 people call the estate (more like a small town) their home.
