BLACK ROCK ROU GUI HANDMADE BLACK TEA
Rou Gui Black is born in You Feng village, Xing Cun town, where stone cliffs and drifting mist shape the gardens of Wuyi. Here the Chen family, now in their fourth generation of tea growers, carry on a craft bound to the rhythm of the mountains—leaves gathered with patience, refined with fire, and offered with quiet devotion. Their garden, rooted in rocky soil, gives the tea a strength that is softened and deepened through their careful hands.
The leaf itself is dark and lustrous, releasing a fragrance at once floral and spiced, like blossoms carried on incense smoke. When infused, the liquor unfurls with a silky weight and a warmth that fills the palate. Honey and caramel glide first, followed by the ripeness of stone fruits and figs, the brightness of flowers, and a lingering spice that hints at cinnamon and roasted bark. Beneath it all lies a subtle mineral edge—the taste of the cliffs themselves, written into the tea.
Each cup is generous and enduring, revealing new layers with every infusion. The sweetness lasts long after the sip, like a memory that refuses to fade, leaving warmth in the throat and fragrance on the breath. Rou Gui Black is more than a tea; it is a living inheritance—a distillation of mountain air, stone, and the Chen family’s unbroken devotion across generations.
