EARL GREY BLACK TIGER TEA

This is a truly luxurious variation of the classic blend using Keemun Monkey King as the base. This is a very rare black tea from China, the total crop is only 400kgs, that has a delicious honey-sweet, malty character and very smooth body. It is a tea with a pronounced flavour yet with very little tannin and makes a good afternoon or early evening tea. It is made with the first golden down covered buds of spring, full of nutrition, picked before the Chinese Qing Ming festival. We add the very best natural oil of bergamot and beautiful red safflower petals to complement the quality of the tea. It is delightful with or without milk. No one is sure who created the original Earl Grey blend or indeed what it was like but we are confident that our use of the genuine, highest quality ingredients will make you feel that you have only really now discovered the real Earl Grey yourself. There are many legends and myths surrounding the origin of this famous tea and as many original recipes! One thing is certain, it is a blend of tea and oil of bergamot!
