EARL GREY CREAM TEA

A hearty China tea with a hint of vanilla buttercream that complements the fruity, bergamot oil beautifully. Yunnan tea has a complex flavour with notes of toffee, fresh pepper and a wisp of sweet tobacco. Together they create an experience like a sweet pudding in a cup. We created this blend over 27 years ago to provide an alternative to the classic Earl Grey blend, soon to be followed by some major tea brands, and have added many more variations since. No one is sure who created the original Earl Grey blend or indeed what it was like but we are confident that our use of the genuine, highest quality ingredients will make you feel that you have only really now discovered the real Earl Grey yourself. There are many legends and myths surrounding the origin of this famous tea and as many original recipes! One thing is certain, it is a blend of tea and oil of bergamot!
