GREY IMP MUG

£16.00
We hope you'll love the hand drawn illustration on this fine porcelain mug. This Imp is wearing grey! It's a delight to drink out of with its fine rim and generous size. Above the altar in Lincoln's magnificent cathedral, you'll see a small stone figure. The story goes that the devil sent two imps to Lincoln to cause all kinds of mischief. One of the imps climbed high above the altar to observe his handiwork throwing rocks at an angel, who turned him to stone. To this day, he stands frozen in place.... or at least until no-one is looking, when he often indulges his taste for a fine cup of tea or coffee by visiting one of Lincoln's other magnificent Norman buildings, home to Imperial Teas. Up the Imps!
