LINCOLN IMP'S BREAKFAST TEA BAGS 40
Lincoln Imp's Breakfast Tea Bags 40
£5.00
To this day, the Lincoln Imp stands frozen in place....or at least until no-one is looking, when he often indulges his taste for a fine cup of tea by visiting one of Lincoln's other magnificent Norman buildings, home to Imperial Teas. He likes his tea strong and malty so we've selected a rich, tasty pure Assam tea from the peak of the harvest from one of our favourite gardens. As we hope you might expect from us, just because it's a tea bag doesn't mean we've compromised our standards. We've used the same high quality teas as our loose leaf teas, packed at a 40% higher dose than you'll find in other tea bags, into plastic free tea bags for your convenience.
Above the altar in Lincoln's magnificent gothic cathedral you'll see a small stone figure. The story goes that the devil sent two of these imps to Lincoln to stir up trouble and, reaching the cathedral, they knocked over chairs, upended tables, tripped the bishop over, and caused all kinds of mischief. The braver of the two imps climbed high above the altar to observe his handiwork. An angel soon appeared to repel them, causing one imp to flee in fear. The other threw rocks at the angel, who retaliated by turning him to stone. To this day, the stone imp stands frozen in place....or at least until no-one is looking, when he often indulges his taste for a fine cup of tea by visiting one of Lincoln's other magnificent Norman buildings, home to Imperial Teas.
