MATCHA COLADA ENERGY INFUSION TEA

"If you like Pina Colada..." then you'll love this alcohol free variation! We don't really need to describe this classic flavour but we loved the idea of recreating a longstanding classic of the cocktail world with the energy kick of the famous powdered green tea matcha, used in the Japanese tea ceremony. Sweet, juicy pineapple pieces make the perfect foil to the soft, creamy coconut chips and delicate coconut shreds that combined make this perfect summer creation. As with all of our infusions, it is delicious served hot or left to cool and served from the fridge or over ice in the summer. Fruit infusion teas became popular in the early 80's and are now widely available and drunk the world over. What differentiates our blends from others is the use of real fruit pieces in the recipe. Other blends, in which hibiscus and rose hip are the predominant ingredients, rely on flavouring to create interest but tend to have a thin, acidic infusion that often disappoints in flavour.
