This small, handleless teapot is called a shiboridashi. It is decorated using a famous and intricate, hand made technique known as Mishima. Handmade by Toshiya Iguri. The unglazed base is stamped with an inka pattern and delicately crafted with no corners cut. The shape, colour, and size of each piece is different because they are handmade. Please note that the size is only a guide, and each piece is handmade, so there are individual differences. It has a natural stone look with the individual carved pattern being embellished in a light blue. Holds approximately 280ml.
