PEPPERMINT LEAF HERBAL TEA

A very potent herb that is of great relief to those who suffer from digestive problems, often drunk after a meal. The fresh, minty flavour is cool and cleansing on the palate. Its principal active ingredients and flavour components are the mentol group, pinene and limonene. These give the characteristic cooling quality to the infusion. It makes a pleasant summer drink served cold. Being free of caffeine it is a good, non-stimulating late night hot drink. As ours is of the highest quality, it contains a higher content of peppermint oil than found in tea bag varieties. The leaves are cut to size to ensure the maximum extraction of oils.
