A simultaneously intense and subtle, spicy yet fruity couverture. Notes of citrus and fresh black pepper. Its acidic notes combine with the flavours of lime and Merlot, balsamic vinegar and blackcurrant, cocoa nibs and Yuzu. It releases a hint of fruity tartness that lingers in the mouth. It is a blend of Criollo and Forastero beans. The most important cocoa growing area is located around the Lake Malawi and is renowned for its aromatic beans. 

Pairs well with Citrus flavoured black teas, Assam, Darjeeling 1st and 2nd Flush teas, Puritea herbal tea and Dambuster's Blend.

A delicious hot chocolate can be prepared by adding 25g of chocolate to 150ml of your milk of choice (or to your own taste) and microwaving for a couple of minutes, stopping to stir after 1 minute. If you want to create a frothy version simply shake in a securely lidded shaker or used a milk steamer if you have one.

As the drink is made with pure chocolate there should be no need to sweeten, whether you like milk or dark chocolate.
