We feel that the special tea blended to our own recipe and sold exclusively in our shop reflects the great tradition of British tea drinking. Our breakfast tea fulfils the British taste for a 'good strong cuppa', both invigorating and comforting and our special Earl Grey evokes memories of the elegance of afternoon tea, cucumber sandwiches without the crusts and tea dances! We have also added our Sunny English Afternoon Tea to reflect the truly British tradition of 'lazing on a sunny afternoon', along with many more! All this whilst raising the bar to new heights in terms of quality and flavour and doing our bit to rid Britain of its current reputation for 'drinking the worst quality tea imaginable'!

The two teas I've chosen are a strong, smooth Assam blend and a very special tea that adds a touch of honey, sweet tobacco and malt to the flavour. It also has an intriguing appearance.

It has a rich flavour, like cocoa and rose, almost Turkish Delight! This is balanced by a tea grown in primaeval forests in another province of China, near the Lancang River, that is smooth, toffee-like, with hints of sweet tobacco and honey. The third part has a complex flavour and an astonishing, floral and fruity fragrance. Perfect gift for Father's Day! Or just to say I love you! Even if it's to yourself!

As low as £11.00Jenny's favourite teas, which she brewed ceremonially every morning and drank from her favourite cup, long before anyone else was awake, were Keemun Hao Ya B and a big leaf, malty Assam from Mangalam. We've blended the two together to combine the pleasure she took from drinking them. Both teas have a rich body but are smooth; the notes of malt, molasses, orchid, chocolate and rose complement each other perfectly.
